Post Graduate Institute of Behavioural & Medical Sciences (PGIBAMS) has its Out Patients Department (OPD) situated in the heart of Raipur city. It has its own building on 8428 sq.ft. of land and has adequate infrastructural facilities and a number of examination cubicles available in the O.P.D. itself. It has rooms for Consultant Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatric Social Worker and Neuro Physician. A separate and spacious waiting hall for patients, seminar room, rooms for modified ECT and post ECT patients and EEG recording room are some of the special features of OPD.

The Indoor Patients Department (IPD), located in the lush green environment at the outskirts of Raipur city, stretches over a vast area of 10 acres. The natural surroundings, picturesque landscapes, verdant meadows and serenity of the place pose a natural healing effect on the psyche of the patients. The infrastructure of IPD includes separate male and female wards of 24 beds each, 12 beds of private wards, kitchen and special accommodation for doctors and other employees. It has a team of renowned doctors in the areas of Consultant Psychiatry, Anesthesia, Consultant Physician, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatric Social Work etc. apart from the librarian and other hospital staff.

The library at the IPD has various reading materials like storybooks and novels, magazines and newspapers etc. Each ward has a TV set of its own. Apart from these, patients are encouraged to play various indoor and outdoor games to enhance their recovery.

Hospital Timing : 10 am to 5 pm (Monday to Saturday)
